          No clouds in the sky;

  my wife

          thundering.

        Gray fox, yellow leaves

  snow

        in my lover's hair.

 

 

Wes Hyde was born in Fontana, California, in 1967. He now resides in Flagstaff, Arizona where he can be close to his children, and teaches traditional haiku via the internet.
