A NOTE FROM THE EDITORS ABOUT ISSUE 23

Dear readers, We've always had a crush on La Petite Zine. Shrouded in mystery, impeccably tasteful, LPZ appeared to us a Catherine Deneuve lookalike on an electric bike: speedy, untouchable, more French than we. Then one day she smiled at us. And we smiled back.

We're excited to carry on the noble lineage of publisher Michael Neff, and editors emeritus Daniel Nester, Jeffrey Salane and Danielle Pafunda.

As two Jews sprung from the Philly 'burbs, we say: Mazel Tov! and Tradition! But we also know that the age of Aquarius is upon us, and we're ready to evolve with these mercurial times. In the coming year, look to see LPZ 4.0 inhabit a sleeker design, twitter like no one's ever twittered, and throw some mean launch parties.

We look forward to having you join us for the ride!

Cheers
