  1. POETRY SUPER HIGHWAY pre-announces: Look for a special e-mail on June 15 announcing the beginning of our third annual summer poetry contest. We have a great roster of prizes and a superb lineup of judges this year. If anyone is interested in donating prizes which would be of interest to poets and writers, in exchange for extensive promotional consideration during the contest (free classified space as well as mention in all contest correspondence) then please e-mail the sponsors at PSH.

  2. NATIONAL LOOKING GLASS POETRY CHAPBOOK COMPETITION DEADLINE
    Manuscript must be postmarked by 9/30/00. Sponsored by Pudding House Publications. Send 10-38 (prefer 24-28) pages of poetry, credits for first appearances, SASE, bio (no silly crap) $10 entry fee to Pudding House Publications, 60 N. Main Street, Johnstown Ohio 43031. You must own copyright for any work previously published. Collection/selection must be a new gathering of poems. Optional: include table of contents, proposed cover, cover letter. Judge: Jennifer Bosveld.

  3. ByLine Magazine: has issued a Call for Submissions for their ByLine chapbook competition. It is a yearly chapbook contest and offers a $200 cash award plus 50 copies of the published book.
    Last year's winner was Kenneth Chamblee.
